February 12, 2020. We made it.
After fairly painless flights, we are now in Accra, Ghana. We had a lovely surprise. Two of the people from the school with whom I have been working closely came to the airport to pick us up! We got a short tour of the school grounds and then taken to the hotel. They would not leave our sides until they were sure we got into our rooms. We tossed things in and went out to explore our hotel grounds and private beach. The fog is part humidity and part smoke. Someone is burning something somewhere. We will be getting to the bottom this.
