Ghana February 2020

Our job today is to pack up our stuff (not that easy), and hang out until Joy and I leave for the airport at 8:00 PM. Our flight is about midnight to 6 am, to Lisbon. We will be there for 4 days. Turned out to be a relaxing and fun day. Vickie spent some time at the spa, then Mary Ashun, the Ghana International School Principal came to see us off. It was so interesting to listen to her talk about her work, her life, her country. Earlier, we had a visit from this little guy. He wanted to show us the dinosaurs on his crocks. We looked at some dinosaurs on the internet. This 2 year old new his way around YouTube!!

Today was the second and last day of our Africa International Schools Association (AISA) workshop.  Today, we focused on evaluating programs, processes, and schools! The incredibly smart participants did a fabulous job. Sowmya took them through Understanding by Design, using our Program Evaluation Tool. The Ghana International School had gifts for us, including some clothes made out of colorful Ghana fabric. Joy modeled her dress for us. I got a long dress with straps. Sowmya got a long tunic top. They had them made while we were there. Scary how accurate they were with the measurements.
