February 15, 2020. Central Coast.
Yeah!! Sowmya is here! The three of us headed off to the Central Coast of Ghana to explore. We had a driver. Could not have done it ourselves. Through the metropolis of Accra, on to Cape Coast, the highway was full of "Commerce." 3.5 hours into the trip, we stopped at a special restaurant for breakfast. One can view crocodiles, while sipping tea/coffee! The birds love these trees. Time to hike the canopy in Kakum National Park. It was a straight up hike until we reached the canopy walk. Not for sissies. After our hike, we headed to the Cape Coast Castle. This was one of the castles that held the kidnapped Africans to be sold to the West for slavery. Our "entertainment" outside our restaurant lunch window.
